Blood test results

I had some blood test taken about 10 minutes ago at the hospital (doctors couldn’t get me in for 2 and half weeks) their testing my FSH, SHBG, testosterone and thyroid function test.
how long does it take to get results back based on your experiences?

Usually hospital results are processed in 2-3 days IME. I'd call on Monday.

To gp? Probably Monday.

Depends I guess, I had blood tests yesterday at 11:10am and had a call from my GP at 7:54am today with the results. These included the blood tests you've had done as well as kidney, liver & cholesterol tests.

If GP requested them then they’ll likely be back at surgery by Monday and then will sit waiting for a Dr to check and approve them to be added to your records. So I would call maybe Tuesday - they may get in touch with you before then if they want them discussed. I had bloods on the 28th, letter received on the 3rd dated 30th asking me to make an appointment to discuss the results.

It took our GP a month to contact DD to tell her some of hers tests were off (by text!). I'd call early next week, although the receptionist won't be able to tell you anything anyway.

DD had bloods last Weds and surgery called on Fri. Appt on Mon.
