Body pain after sleeping

I am an 84 year old woman

I dread going to bed because I wake up with terrible pain.

Sometimes just my abdomen but often all over my body.
Arms, thighs, everything is in pain.

The weird thing is, it all subsides, after being awake for an hour or so.

My GP can’t find anything to explain it - blood tests are normal.

I am housebound and too delicate to travel to clinics for scans and tests.

Any help and advice greatly received.

I don't know, but I empathise with you. I often wake up in pain.

Hi OldBeller, thanks for your love - hope your pain's not too bad for you.

Sorry can’t help but can you take a load of vitamins and minerals etc or try some sort of herbal remedies? Gentle stretches etc before bed? No idea but hope someone here can help.

When did you last change your mattress?

Bless you, do you take vitamin D3 and K2? I had terrible pain in my joints and I think it certainly helped me after a few weeks
A long shot but might possibly help

Try taking magnesium at night, it's helped me a lot 😊
