FND diagnosis

Following my neurology appointment I’ve been diagnosed with FND (Functional Neurology Disorder) and have been given a website to get more information and advice.
Just wondering if I need to share this with work? Also is there anyone here who has the same diagnosis? I’m not quite sure how I feel about it.

What is your line of work?

Did they say whether you can drive or not?

I think you need to speak with your specialist op

they will know your job and your symptoms and severity

Having a diagnosis is in itself helpful in reducing frequency of symptoms. I was reading about this today (I witnessed an unusual collapse) and it’s definitely the case for a couple of the FND causes. I hope it brings you some clarity. Have you had any recommendations, CBT etc?
