Tetanus booster ?

dh trod on a nail while clearing part of the garden. It went through heel of his shoe and scratched the skin. Bled a fair bit but isn't deep.

Should he go for a tetanus booster bearing in mind nail was probably old, dirty and rusty and he hasn't had one for at least 15 years ?

Tetanus is v v v nasty

Well he won't go . Even though the most recent he would have had a booster was 12 years ago, and I don't think he did even then.
