I know the NHS in under a lot of pressure and therefore generally try and avoid unnecessary doctors visits. Particularly for thinks that seem like it would just clear up on its own.
Last week- I suddenly just started feeling generally unwell, weak body, feeling nauseas, tired.
Saturday I had excruciating back pain. I have no idea why.
Sunday my back continued in agony, pain killers not touching the sides. That night I ate half of my dinner and could barely carry on eating and then threw it all up.
Monday, I had a small phase of diarrhoea in the morning so took 2 anti diarrhoea tablets.
My body aches, nausea and loss of appetite have continued all week, I still haven't stomached a proper meal. (Living on plain toast, bits of fruit).
Wednesday night, I got a bit more diarrhoea and it was BRIGHT yellow. I thought maybe a reaction from the anti diarrhoea tablets I took on Monday.
Thursday another day of feeling sick and leg aches.
Today is Friday, I'm still not able to eat, feel like I'm about to throw up and today my leg aches are unbearable. My poo today was solid but again, literally bright yellow.
When would you want to get this checked out? I know it could be a bug still, but It's been almost a week of feeling so awful and the yellow poo seems strange to me.
For context I'm 23, I'm in great health- regularly exercise, 3 healthy meals a day.
