At a scheduled health check my bloods showed elevated liver enzymes to a worring level according to the GP. At this point I felt fine and was ref for an ultra sounded. This was about 6 weeks ago. Two weeks ago I started to feel odd, which has got worse day by day. started with mild bloating and nausea (not vomit) and I now have discomfort on the right side and just below my breast bone. I now have flu symptoms and my legs and arms feel weak.
I have also lost 5lb ib two weeks, possibly because I am eating less
The ultra sound was of limited use due to the amount of gas in my belly. But it did so an enlarged galllader which was half full of sludge and mile bile ducts were dilated the CBD to a big margin, no sign of blockage - but I am told with gas this can be an issue.
The scan did said my pancreas was obscured which is a worry but Dr said this may be due to gas or a grwoth!!
Thus I have an urgent MRI on Tuesday. With a list of symptoms to go directly to A&E with.
Dr said it could be anything from gallstones to a growth on my pancreas he seemed concerned because the bile ducts are dilated with no sign of a gallstone and the fact I am feel ill and getting worse. Sayingit could be pancreatic issues which on reading up is a major concern with the symptons.
Just wondering for those who have had gallstone issues, so the above symptoms sounds like your attacks?
