Infected tooth

Looking for a little advice re a tooth infection I have.

I saw the dentist in Friday, an X-ray confirmed an infection above my tooth. I have been prescribed a seven day course of antibiotics and have an appointment next week to see what the next steps should be.

Since the appointment, I feel like I can feel the infection moving up my face. My face is a little puffy. If I bend down I get what I can only describe as sinus pain. I wouldn't say it's painful but my face is sore and I’m a little concerned about what feels like movement.

Not sure if I’m worrying unnecessarily or if I should be concerned. Any ideas?

You may need a different type of antibiotic. Call the dentist and let them know what's going on. Good luck!

Thank you @HeckinBamboozled I didn't think of that, it's sore and I’m sad and just feel a bit under the weather. Think I’m coming down with something, which is just typical on top of toothache.. will call them tomorrow
