Whenever I have tried to exercise in the past, I can do anything that involved bringing the knees in and back out. Stretching my knee back out makes it click and it feels awful! Usually it stops though once I stop the exercise.
However, yesterday I went on a treadmill and did a very brisk walk for 30 mins and then literally 5 mins of running. Not much. But since then I can't walk. I can put weight on my knee, that doesn't hurt it at all. But the movement of my knee bending and straightening as I'm walking is making it click and it feels as if it's come out of place or something is rubbing together! I know it hasn't come out of place because I would be in a lot more pain but that's just how it feels. It's as if my knee is locked and when I straighten it something rubs together and makes a clicking noise. Because of this I'm having to limp because it really does not feel good.
This happened yesterday afternoon and so far it hasn't gotten any better. My partner thinks I just need to rest it for a few days but I'm not sure if it needs a drs visit? Does anyone know what the problem could be?
