Shoulder pain- any ideas why?

I’m 40, female- in case that’s relevant to this!

For the last week or so I’ve been having a sort of (hard to describe) discomfort in the bottom of my right shoulder blade. It’s almost like a tingle or fuzziness if that makes sense. The only way I can describe it is that feeling you get right before you get pins and needles, uncomfortable and weird feeling, but not exactly painful? It’s annoying. It’s not all the time (although getting more frequent), worst when I’m standing up.

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what it could be, or has had the same? And mainly if anyone knows how to stop it. Thank you.

You need to see your GP, it could be anything ranging from a strain to another more serious conditions ( unlikely ) but best to get it checked out .

Possibly the early stage of frozen shoulder, I agree about getting it checked out.
