Since I had my DD almost a year ago, I've had the most terrible try skin patches t both under my eyes and just under my eyebrows on both eyes. The skin is also sore and red at times. I've tried steroid cream, gel emollients, normal moisturisers and nothing works. It's not only sore but looks awful. Any ideas?!

Ooh don’t use steroid creams round your eyes - or anywhere on your face - it’s nasty stuff.
Speak to your GP in the first instance. I have eczema and find the MooGoo range is good, but things in the specialist skin care section of Boots can help - Cetraben , epaderm, Diprobase all help me. Just really gentle things with no perfumes etc.

Are you drinking enough water? Sometimes you are that busy being a parent its easy to forget to look after yourself. Get plenty of water down you.
But yeah hormones are wonderful things aren't they and that could be one reason, hormones gone haywire after giving birth.

My DH gets this and it turns out it was caused by scalp dandruff that was basically falling down onto his cheeks, eyelids, chest. Once he treated the scalp issue, the other areas cleared up. Could you have a similar issue?
