Can IBS D change to IBS C

I have had IBS D since I was in my teens and it was always just cramps followed by Diarrhea. About 10 days ago suddenly I had some constipation which has never really been an issue for me as I have always been pretty regular and since then I have had watery loose stools which is usually preceded by a bit of cramping. I am going to the toilet less than normal and sometimes I go and nothing happens and sorry about the TMI but my bowel movements are reduced in volume and not formed. I am worried it’s Bowel Cancer as my grandfather died of that or maybe my IBS is changing.

Any change go and see doctor
Probably nothing to worry about but if it could be nasty then sooner seen sooner mended

That is what used to happen to me before Crohns diagnosis

I hadn’t thought of Crohns because I thought with that you would have to go to the loo several times a day. I am only going maybe two or three times at most but it’s always loose bowel movements.
