Hi , I would just like to see if anyone had anything similar .
my last 3 periods have been different. Lasting 3 days instead of the usual 7 . I start off with a couple of day of spotting , than it starts sort of heavy ish for a day , get lighter on day 2 .stop than finish with very very light brown .
before it was very heavy day 1-3 ..then lighter till it ended on day 7-8.
don’t know why this has happened. Nothing really changed lifestyle wise .
then about 5 weeks ago had sex , 2 days later started with what seemed a very mild uti which wasn’t going away. It was more a sensation of electric shock in my urethra..and felt like I was going to wet myself . Anyway got 3 days of abx , felt a little bit better for a few days and now ( 3 weeks later ) I am still having this urgency feeling, it’s like having a mild uti . Not horrific but definitely not my normal self . Urine culture was negative anyway .
i am not pregnant ( 100% sure ) bit I don’t know what it could be. My mind is going from early menopause to interstitial cystitis to ovarian cancer to adhesions ..I’m a bit loosing my mind .
thinking it’ll go away but it’s still there .
i will go back to my gp , and I have booked a pelvic scan just to have a look at uterus / ovaries ???
anybody has had anything like this ?
im 33 and I have had a D&c , a pelvic open surgery to put a very high cerclage around my cervix , and a c section 4 years ago .
i also had a scan about 6 months ago because I had pain on my r ovary but that was clear .
just sick of feeling like i am gonna wet myself every time I need a wee , which is far more often then I used to .
