Lower back and groin pain?!

Hi!
So I've been getting lower back pain and groin pain if I do any exercise incl a long walk. It then creates, nausea, headache & fatigue. I think I'll self refer to a physio but it's so annoying bc I can't do any exercise. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

YES I had a scan and it's arthritis. Which I never knew caused groin pain @girlladywoman

My GP has done an urgent referral for a scan on my ovaries. Also a blood test for ovarian cancer. They think potential ovary cyst. Pain has worsened so might be rupturing.

This is what I get with an ovarian cyst,I'm waiting for surgery at the moment.

How long have you been waiting? How big is yours if you don't mind me asking? And what were your symptoms?

Dragging period like pain lower down and in my back too, achey legs too. Feeling really under the weather generally and tired too. I had a scan which showed an 8cm cyst, they kept an eye on me every 3 months with a scan but at the first scan it had changed and I had an MRI. It showed it was a dermoid cyst which needed to be removed. I am on the urgent list,I was told it would be within 6 weeks...it's been 17weeks so far so who knows 🙄

How frustrating that you haven't been seen yet. I wonder how much this sort of thing is if you go private. It's my lower back pain/tightness that has worried me the most to be honest. I've had it for many months and started physio, now I see the link and wish I'd done something earlier

Sounds like cyst pain, depending on the sort of cyst it might well just resolve itself,it's only because mine is a dermoid one that it can't be left.

I think a laparoscopy is less at about 7k but mine will be removal of ovary, cyst and fallopian tube and will be open surgery not keyhole as the cyst is too big. Anyway it's not something I can afford.

Oh I see, yes. No i would rather wait than pay that too. I hope you get your appt soon
