No one knows what to do with me, being passed around and losing the will. Any NHS experts?

Here is my situation:

-Injured my foot a few weeks ago
-I am pretty certain what it is due to Google and I also saw a private podiatrist who confirmed suspicions
-Paid for an MRI to clarify and should get the results this week
-It is a torn ligament

I am trying to get help via the NHS. I want someone to tell me if it needs surgery (which private podiatrist thinks it does) and to get on the waiting list.

So far I have:

-Seen the GP who had no idea what to do and referred me to orthopaedics
-That referral was rejected
-Referred me to physio who said it wasn't his area and he referred me to fracture clinic
-Fracture clinic rejected the referral as it's not a broken bone
-GP referred me to podiatrist. Podiatrist said they can't help as it's a ligament
-GP has now referred me for an xray (I already know it's not broken so why?)

I just want to see someone who can talk to me about surgery or assess it from a surgical point of view. It's been weeks now and I am no further forward. If anything I've gone backwards.

My brother told me to go to A&E when it happened as I'd be seen quickly but I didn't go because it wasn't an emergency and I thought I'd be wasting their time. But now I wish I had.

I rolled my ankle in 2016 and it had always been swollen with a that's just the way it is now from the doctors. I went to a private physio for a shoulder issue in 2021 and mentioned about my ankle. An MRI was suggested and the results were a torn ATFL and CFL with scarring to the ATFL. I had a cortisone injection and a couple of sessions of physio and the swelling has gone and I am no longer in pain after any activities.
I would wait for the MRI results and see where you can go from there.
I went on to have a further cortisone in April as I was going on a walking holiday and my ankle didn't give me any issues.
