Hi

Does anyone work in occupational health.
I received a letter saying I've been booked for a review medical consultation does anyone know what that means?

Thank you

It would generally mean that you or someone else has referred you to the OH dept. Without more information it’s impossible to say anything else

Sorry I should of been more clear. I've been under OH for a while now. Been on sick for 3 month then returned on redeployment to a different role as they suggested. In my last appointment they where writing to my consultant to see if they could help getting me a quicker appointment but that was like 7 weeks ago then I received the letter today x

They probably want to see how you're doing and if there's anything you need their support with,

I have OH reviews every 6 weeks. Once we're all happy I'm fully recovered, the reviews will stop but I appreciate them keeping an eye out for me.

It is as PP said--it's a review to see where you are at now. They likely don't know you have returned to work in a different role but they will have put you in for review after your last assessment.
