Not sure I'm in the right place here; clicked on 'living with adhesions'?
Briefly, when my gall bladder was difficult to find for removed it was found to be stuck to my abdomen by adhesions from peritonitis 50 odd years earlier ... could difficulty with colonoscopy (proximal sigmoid colon, fixed sigmoid) be due to the same thing, after 59 years?

Have you raised the possibility with your doctor? I'd imagine you could be right

Failed colonoscopy was only a week ago; referred for a scan in the next 4 weeks I'll certainly query it. ..Lightbulb moment!
