I hope the title will mean that if you've decided to read this you don't mind TMI. I have gone from having daily well formed bowel movements to being constipated and having 'pebble' poohs for the last 3 weeks. I notice there is often a bit of mucus in the stool and when it has been hard to pass a small amount of red blood. I have suffered from piles in the past in pregnancy. I drink 3 litres of water a day and eat a good diet. I have started eating bran this week to see if it helps but I wonder if it is something I should be worried about?

With the mucus it may be as well to get it checked esp as if you are drinking water and having a good diet but has changed your bowel habits without cause seemingly
