Positive glucose in urine

Any else had a positive test for glucose in urine and what did the GP do next?
Im having abdominal pain which I thought was an ovarian cyst, doctor wanted to run some tests before submitting an ultrasound request.
Waiting on a blood test but the urine test came
back all fine other than positive for glucose.
Im so tired all the time, needing a nap during the day. I really don’t think im diabetic (surley I would have known before now?)
Any other suggestions what causes glucose in urine?

Being tired is a symptom of high blood sugar. What is your diet like? Are there any diabetics in your family?

@Singasongaday i have been feeling quite nauseous so I have been eating less than normal. I eat alright, wouldn’t say it’s super healthy but not really unhealthy either. I love vegetables but not a massive fan of fruit. I do like chocolate but try to limit.

No family history other than a GP with type 2 in old age. I have always drank loads so was taken to the doctors as a kid to get checked over for diabetes. I do drink more than an average person and I have been pregnant and it’s never been picked up.
