what this brown patch is on my palm?

Has anyone had this before, there’s a brown patch of skin on my palm and the back of my middle finger also looks brown. Any ideas?

Nope not been gardening, noticed it yesterday when sitting in the sun. Thought it might have been stained by sun tan lotion but ive scrubbed and scrubbed and still looks the same

Hmm, I’m not so sure as from what I’ve read it’s extremely uncommon in the UK! And I haven’t recently been to any of the most affected countries
