Could sertraline be causing this

It started not long after starting the medication so I’m wondering if it could be the cause. Sorry if tmi…I’d normally have a bowel movement everyday/every other day. All normal. But for the past 4 weeks I could go 3 days without going but then 3 times in a day. I’ve noticed they are looser as well and the urge comes on really strong. Sorry again for the tmi but I have health anxiety and I’m starting to worry a bit

Sertraline can definitely cause bowel issues as a side effect, either diarrhea or constipation. It's one of the main reasons I stopped taking it. I had a constant low grade ache, I'm back to normal now.
