Prolapse concerns

Anyone with prolapse experience? I suspect this is what I have going on. I have a…… bulge if you like that used to be inside and how feels outside to the front of the vagina hole. Can be pushed up but comes straight back out when I let go. Moves if I do my pelvic floor exercises. I dunno why I’m posting. I’ll be booking doctors, but I guess for some reassurance. I feel really down about it. 3 baby’s in 5 years and never doing the kegals I suspect is the cause. Kids are now 10 8 and 5:
any positive stories welcome xxx

Hi, I'm 2 weeks postpartum and I suspect I have this. May I ask what the doctor told you?

Bananas1350 · 10/09/2023 06:28

I got one after I had my son. Everytime I stood up it felt like something dropped. I also felt a bulge when walking. I went to the doctor and they sent me to physio and I was okay. Don’t worry. It’s fixable just a horrible feeling.

@Bananas1350 Thanks for sharing. Did yours resolve with physical therapy? How long did it take?

Bananas1350 · 10/09/2023 11:49

It took a while. Months even. Sorry to say even now years later it comes back every now and then. Keep up the pelvic floor. It does get better. Feels horrible though I remember not wanting to get up and move around. Also for some reason made me hold my breathe when walking.

Sorry that happened to you... It really helps to hear from someone else though. I don't hold my breath but it feels like I have to hold my pee when I stand or walk and like something is out of place. Thanks again for sharing - hopefully it will get better with time.
