Transnasal gastroscopy anyone?

If you have had a Transnasal gastroscopy, which is a test to look at the oesophagus and stomach with the scope being passed through the nose, I would be grateful if you could post or pm me to share how it went for you. I am reposting, as the more replies and reassurance I can get, the more it will ease my anxiety about this procedure. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I had it. It was over really quickly and I was glad to be able to walk out and not have sedation. They but a spray down your throat to numb it which is bitter but ok, then you lie on your side and they start putting the tube up your nose. The tube was too big in my first nostril but not the other. The only unpleasant bit was when it had to go over the back of my nose, but it was unpleasant not painful. Once it starts to go down it's all really quick and before you know it it's out and you are done. I would choose this over sedation if I had to do it again
