.

and he tells us to stop the Codeine & Diclofenac, survive on Pqracetamol during the day (when he is not coping on the cocktail of all 3 drugs), and to take DIAZEPAM at night!

I explain that he is most stiff in the morning - what do we do then? Paracetamol!!

I am soooo and for DS. He won't be able to go back to school and I am now worried about leaving him (he's 12 but has been left recently whilst I work).

My Mum is on holiday - so I will phone for help from church Pastoral care group.

I even phoned to try & book him a Private appt today but consultant & secretary away

Osteopath sais he is not improving and he an only help with relieving the muscle spasms - he is writing to GP to say he really needs a scan but GP's don't like Osteopaths

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Find another GP.

We've seen 4 at the same practice - all say "It's muscular - will resolve" since October!!!

We finally got a referral, and appt is now only 2 weeks away but it's been a long wait & I don't know if he can last

They know I'm desperate - I've cried there the last twice. We've even sat in A&E. Get same answer everywhere - need to see an Orthopaedic specialist - and no, nothing available so you have to wait.

I call the appt line every day, I've phone the hospital direct and now can't even get through privately.

It's hell!

Oh Milli
Can you go back to A&E for stronger painkillers while waiting?

Milliways · 21/02/2008 14:54

Stronger than Diazepam?

Don't know what I can safely mix taht with...
