Vomiting after vaccinations

My 12 month old had his hib and men c vaccine this morning and I was looking out for the usual temp/irritability but he has been vomiting profusely for over an hour now (every 15 mins or so). Has anyone else experienced this?

How is he now? If that were me, I'd be phoning my gp's surgery or NHS direct to ask for advice. Might eb an overreaction but if it saves you hours of fretting, better to be thought a bit overprotective.

Hope your DS is feeling better now

No better yet but i have been to gp who says it is not connected to the vaccine (far too soon after having and vomiting is not a widely reported effect). She thinks it is probably a virus such as norovirus (winter vomiting disease). She says continue to BF as and when he wants and top up with water and dioralyte. I've also to keep an eye on his nappies to make sure he is weeing which is a good sign he's not becoming too dehydrated.

Thanks for replying!
