Breast lump

Hi,

Hoping someone can calm me. 2 weeks ago, had a very sore breast, slightly red around nipple. Went to the doc the next day, she seemed to thing it was infection. It was firm above the nipple and I could feel a lump under nipple. I'm not breastfeeding , and my youngest is nearly 4. Took antibiotics for a week, it calmed down but could still feel the lump, doctor gave me another 5 days antibiotics! Lump is still there and feels a little tender, don't know if that's from me checking it too often ! I've phoned doctors to get a referral so waiting to hear back, just wondering if anyone else has any similar stories when not breastfeeding??

Hope you're okay? Did you get a referral?! I found a lump in my breast, for refered to the breast clinic on Thursday 😩.. so worried about it xx

@Ash09876 she only referred me Friday so waiting for my appt, she said 2-3 weeks !! It's a long wait when your anxious . Hope all goes well for you Thursday. X Did u have any pain with yours. ?

Oh really 😩.. no I don't have any pain. Just randomly found a lump. Went to the doctors last Friday then I got appointment come thorough with in a hour for just over a week away. Which I thought was good. I would chase up the appointment. My doctor told me, I should get an appointment within 24 hours max! Hope yours all goes well though x

I had a scan yesterday, everything came back clear. It was just breast tissue. Hope it's the same for you. Best of luck

That's fantastic news. I'm so happy for you. I was thinking of ya but didn't want to be asking for an update . Got my appt 27th June so I've a bit to wait .

What did your guys lumps feel like? Currently waiting on a letter appt for breast clinic also :(

Mine felt like a wooden bead or a dried out pea that had gone hard.

Mine was a hard funny shape, but I could move it around. I was seen to very quickly. The people at the breast clinic were so lovely and sympathetic. Made me feel at ease. When I was having the scan. They were talking me through what they could see and what was normal. Mine all came back clear. Fingers crossed yours will :)
