I have a swollen occipital lymph node. It’s quite big and tender when pushed but is otherwise hard and fixed. No obvious cause for it being up either. I went to the GP yesterday who agreed it is indeed a big lymph node.
He told me not to worry though as it’s painful and painful nodes “aren’t cancer”. Is this true? I’m worrying so much about it and would love to dismiss it as being “fine” but it’s still really niggling at me.
