I had a routine NHS mammogram yesterday (over 50, no symptoms). The lady doing it said it would give very little information as I have implants and ‘anything could be going on behind them’.
Are there any other investigations that could be carried out despite the implants? Ultrasound? Or anything else? Would it maybe be worth seeing a consultant privately? The experience has left me worried.
