Eye twitch?

Hey guys, my eyes have been twitching several times an hour since the last 2-3 weeks now and it’s really worrying me. I have an optician appointment on Friday as I already know that my eyesight is weak and I need glasses (can this be why?). Also, it’s possible that I’m not getting enough sleep because of my 7 month old. I’ve been probably getting around 6-7 hours a night. I’m so dumb too I know, I googled it and it came up with so much stuff like multiple sclerosis and brain cancer. Could it just be due to tiredness and weak eyesight? Also, how can I get rid of this eye twitch? It’s happening to both of my eyes and it’s so annoying as well as worrying.

Could it just be due to tiredness and weak eyesight? Yes absolutely and that's the most likely causes too. New glasses will help and is there anything at all you can tweak to help you get even just a bit more sleep?

Yes common with tiredness. Ask the optician if they have any concerns.

Yes common with tiredness / stress I had it for weeks before my wedding stopped the day I got married

I had an eye twitch several times a day for just over 6 months. Thought it would never ever stop then boom it did... very annoying and odd

Yes I've had one for the last 2-3 months on and off. Stress/tiredness/caffeine are common causes. Mine stopped altogether last week when I was on holiday relaxing on the beach then started up again when I went back to work! If you've got a baby stress and tiredness are most likely to be the reason

This happens to me occasionally when tired and stressed out (possibly malnourished). I didnhave a friend where it didn't stop and she had botox injected which seemed to do the trick

If I'm stressed from work and consistently 5 hours or less sleep a night this happens to me. However I'm still stressed and still don't sleep more than 7 hours but changing my diet really helped. As in I don't get them anymore. Yiu canf do much about the stress but can you eat all your vitamins? I still eat crap but make sure I eat the healthy stuff first

My eyes twitch if I am stressed or tired (often both!). I mentioned it to the optician and they said the three most common reasons are

Tired/lack of sleep
Stress
High consumption of coffee/caffeine

I tick all three. It's a good idea to mention it to the optician as they will be able to check things out and put your mind at rest.
