Chances of dry socket 1 week after extraction?

I had a top tooth out last week (1 week exactly today) pain stopped after abut 2 days, haven’t had to take paracetamol for about 5 days. I was eating earlier on the side where the tooth came out (I didn’t realise) and afterwards I noticed the white stuff that was in the tooth gap, has come out 😭 there’s still some white there, not sure if it’s a bone or just tissue. i am so afraid I’m gonna get dry socket!! Can you get it 1 week after extraction?? Help! I’ve had dry socket before and it was horrific, I don’t want that again!! Thank you

Sympathies. I've had it too, and I agree it's horrific.

See if you can get your dentist to take a quick look in the morning. Emphasise that it's urgent and won't take long.

Fingers crossed Flowers

Try clove oil if you can buy or order some. My husband had dry socket after an extraction and it really helped him. Even if it's not that,it's good for tooth pain...tastes pretty bad though. Hope it gets better soon
