Hello

Due to very poor health and physical mobility my feet are in a very abandoned condition. I find it embarrassing to show up at the podiatrist like that.

Can you tell me from your experience please if this is a reasonable concern?

I mean I will do my best to wash my feet before visit but it won't be perfect.

Sorry for the gross post, thank you!

They have seen feet in various degrees of neglect. Just make sure u wash them. Get someone to help u if necessary. I would recommend that you wear some sandals because once you have had your feet done,if u are anything like me,u don't want to put socks on. I have two bunions, fallen arch and recently was told I have a toe infection- she never batted an eyelid. By the way if u got hairy toes thst is normal. Enjoy.

Whatever has happened to your feet, the podiatrist will have seen worse.

After all, these are people who chose to specialise in feet! So they absolutely don't mind looking at feet with issues, this is their life's work.

Your feet won't trouble a Podiatrist. As long as they're washed beforehand, you're going there to see someone who understands feet and health conditions/disability. Relax.
