I’ve got an almost identical mark on my lower arm. I did have it looked at a few years ago and the doctor dismissed it as nothing sinister. But you should always get marks looked at though.

Forgot the photo!

Harder to tell with the second one as the photo is a bit blurry, but it looks like an age spot to me.

The OP's looks a bit different though. At the risk of worrying you I'd suggest you put your mind at rest and get a GP to look at it. It looks a bit like a basal cell carcinoma I had removed several years ago - though if I remember rightly mine was a bit redder. Also, the rest of your skin doesn't look old so it seems unlikely to be an age spot.

looks much like a little mark I now have on my hand, which only appeared in last ... 5 years? ... & I take to be an age spot, too

Looks like an age spot to me. If you get it checked out you can really put your mind at rest.

Looks like sun damage to me.

Barefootinthecarpark · 28/05/2023 21:21

It looks absolutely nothing like the Basel Cell Carcinoma that I had removed five years ago. It looks just like the many sun spots my dermatologist tells me I have. Show a pharmacist if you feel the need.
