I posted a while ago about my eye test I have been wearing the new glasses for a while.
Today I ended up wearing my old glasses and I can see better from them particularly when reading. Could specsavers have got my test wrong ? I Pressume I just need to ring up and ask. Will they re test and replace the glasses. I'm just nervous as I have autism and am not good at ringing also worried about needing to pay again or will the old nhs voucher cross over. Thank you

They will firstly check the glasses have been made up correctly, if they have they will retest. If the prescription is different on the retest you won’t have to pay for the glasses to be made up again.

An optician did tell me sight tests are subjective, they can only go off what the patient tells them during the test, but mistakes can happen. Just pop in and tell them you aren’t happy with the vision in your new glasses.

I took my elderly mum back to specsavers when she found her new glasses weren’t right. Everything was fixed free of charge.

about 2% of glasses need changing after the initial test. Just tell them you can see better in your old ones.
ues, they’ll change them.

I once had a pair where a measurement was wrong. So the part of the lens I should be looking through wasn’t in front of my eye! Worth asking.
