Sinus infection Help!

I'm certain I have a sinus infection.
I had a horrible cold last weekend but since getting over that (it was a 24 hour thing) I I've suffered terribly with congestion. Like really and truely suffered.
Sorry if thainai tmi but thick green mucus from my nose, constantly. Not getting better at all :( my nose has started to become quite painful and today I've tried with tooth ache on my right side and on and off ear ache. Lots of pressure from my tear duct to nose to tooth if that makes sense?
I feel ok in my self otherwise, just irritated and fed up!

I cannot use sudafred because I had an allergic reaction to it last time and I'm BF but I have been using the nose spray which has been a life saver!

What else should I do? Do I just wait it out or try and get antibiotics?

Go to your local walk in centre, they’ll prescribe antibiotics if they think you need them. They should be open at 8am tomorrow, you don’t need an appointment.

The guidelines are not to prescribe antibiotics initially as the most are viral (here follows a stream of people saying that they HAVE to have antibiotics everytime they have sinusitis)

I really don't like taking antibiotics as I'm BF and I'm allergic to penicillin so it's never straight forward so I do avoid them as much as I can!
But I don't feel like I'm getting any better and the tooth ache is really bothering me now!
We have a walk in Center but I think you need an app via 111?

I have sinusitis at the moment but it’s definitely viral and it’s horrible! Op has my sympathy. I’ve been given a steroid nasal spray to try but it’ll take a couple of weeks to see any difference. Surviving on paracetamol, ibuprofen and steam inhalations. I agree the toothache is bad - I’ve struggled to eat for the last few days because it’s painful. Sticking to lots of fluids.

I had sinusitis recently and it’s horrible. Have you tried washing out your sinuses with salt water and bicarbonate of soda? I think that helps it to clear up faster. Look on the NHS website under sinusitis for instructions.

Also rest as much as possible (though I see you have a baby, so that may not be easy).

Actually the guidelines are to prescribe antibiotics if it's been a week and other things aren't helping. So it's not that they won't prescribe at all - they will, they just want you to suffer first.

You can try a Neilmed Sinus Rinse. Easily available from pharmacy or supermarket medical section. Like a pp said, it simply uses salt and bicarb (medical grade pre-measured sachets) with cooled to lukewarm boiled water. It it is very soothing, relieves pressure and this bottle makes it easy to use.

I have had this thought clear discharge so maybe different but gp said 1 week of a salty nasal rinse thing then 1 week of beconase spray and if no better back. Though beconase is for hay-fever but it does clear nose a bit. I also use decongestants. Though nothing is shifting mine apart from the steam room at swimming pool.

Thanks for all the advice!
Rang 111 on Friday and they suggested a steroid nose spray.
Yesterday k started feeling really unwell, achy, hot , headache etc. went back to go and they prescribed antibiotics.
Turns out I couldn't get the perscription anywhere but I've woke up feeling a bit better today so might just see how I get on!
It really is awful I just cannot believe how conjested I am! I really hope to not experience this again after any other future cold :(
