Protein in urine

Had some burning down there this evening and decided to take an at home urine dip test. It confirmed I had protein in my urine around the ++ does anyone know why this might be? Is it a reaction or should I be worried.
I've also been really tired this afternoon had to go for a nap about 3 but I do have small children so im always rushing about.

It was actually more of an irritating itch. I've got no burning when going to the toilet etc. don't think it's a UTI no other symptoms

Protein and burning sound like a UTI. Best speak to the GP to see if they need to send a sample. In the mean time, plenty of water/cranberry juice and or cystitis over the counter remedies?

When I had protein in my urine when pregnant it was a uti. I had no symptoms at all, only found in routine urine swab as I was pregnant x
