New mole

Hi all,

First time posting in health, I may be overreacting!

I've had a mole appear right next to another one. The darker mole has always been there, but the lighter one right next it (almost against it) has appeared recently.

Would you think this is cause for concern, and should I contact gp?

Thank you x

If you are concerned please contact the GP. They will either reassure you or refer you. I don’t imagine people on the internet will truly allay your fears so go and ask an expert to be sure. Hopefully it’s nothing at all.

Contacting GP is the best option, or Boots has private mole checking service

Yes I would contact the GP.

Could it be a seborrheic keratosis? I have these all over. They are harmless … Google a picture

I have one like that. Was told it was a skin tag by a dermatologist. Make an appointment with GP just to check.
