I have constant stomach pain and feeling the need to go to the toilet but can't go, my symptoms match ibs-C - last year I did a stool sample as I had the same stomach pain issues and was told both samples were clear. The stomach pain eventually went away after about a month of constant pain and didn't come back until now which was around 8/9 months ago, I saw a paramedic in the doctors as no docs available and she said my stool sample actually showed inflammation markers on the IBD stool sample but not enough to be IBD so she said it is enough to signal IBS though. So she said I should take buscopan and take paracetamol when needed, buscopan does not work for me at all which is making me think this is not IBS. It's really worrying me, the pain in my stomach is constant, constant gurgling it's awful. Is it normal for buscopan not to work with IBS?
