Implant in turkey?

I need a tooth implant. Can anyone recommend a good dentist in turkey? Can't really afford prices over here. Would like some composite bonding too but the implant is most important
Thanks

If you don’t mind travelling, this place always gets mentioned for good implant prices. After seeing all the horror stories about ‘Turkey teeth’ on TikTok there is no way I would go there. They are just a production line getting people out quickly with nice looking smiles but not caring that they’ve caused damage & the patient ends up suffering pain. They to pay to have the work rectified when they get back home so it’s more costly in the long run.

Yes, wouldn't recommend Turkey.

Just be warned that UK dentists refuse to touch work that's been done abroad. Even the expensive private places.

My Dad had a minor issue and no dentist would even take a look. When his bridge eventually fell out he had to get it all redone at a cost of £12k!

He's 75 and has a lovely smile 😆

Thanks everyone, yes I'm also confused how they do implants in a day or so when I've looked at the one in Brighton and many others the whole process can take upto 6months! Xx

I’ve used the Brighton clinic, I would definitely recommend them. It was much cheaper than more local clinics, but there was no compromise on care or professionalism. I visited once for a consultation, once for the screw placement then again a few months later for the tooth to be attached.

I was also going to have some composite bonding but ended up having this done by a private dentist at my usual dental surgery as the price was similar and didn’t involve travel.

@Mrs1010 I'm really interested to know more about your experience at Brighton implant clinic, I have been seriously considering travelling there, having been quoted three times as much for implants locally (Gloucestershire).
How long have you had the implant placed by Brighton implant clinic? Was you local dentist happy to continue your general care even though you had treatment elsewhere? I feel like my dentist has me over a barrel 😩 she is lovely, and has helped me a lot with chronic TMJ issues, but her prices are just eye watering.

Mrs1010 · 19/05/2023 01:30

I completed the process about 18 months ago and haven’t had any issues at all, it’s done so much for my confidence though. I haven’t had to ask my local dentist to do anything regarding the implant, I would imagine if I had any problems I would go back to Brighton. I haven’t had anything other than regular check ups since and they are happy to do that as normal.

I would have thought that you are free to choose whoever you want to do private cosmetic work surely? Might be slightly easier as my usual dentist doesn’t offer the implant, but going to Brighton was the only way I would have afforded it anyway.

DH has had five implants done at the Brighton clinic. He got them about 5 years ago, excellent work and no trouble from them.

snowbellsxox · 19/05/2023 22:20

Thanks everyone. I messaged them and they said it could take upto 5 trips all in. I'm just having one tooth replaced, a pre molar so I'm hoping I don't need too many appts.
I'm from Leeds so it's a fair way you see.
I'll probably do a couple of overnight stays Smile.

@snowbellsxox I'd be really grateful if you could keep us posted about how you get on? It's lovely to see two positive reviews for Brighton implant clinic on here. I need three implants which looks like it would be around 4.5k there, as opposed to the 10.5k I've been quoted locally. Well worth a few round trips and a couple of airbnb stays!!!

How did you get on OP? I live even further up north than the poster living in Leeds and wondering if anywhere similar up north or in Scotland? Thanks
