Constipation/Abdominal discomfort…..would you be concerned?

Not sure if this warrants a GP call or not.
So I’ve been constipated for a few months now. Well when I say constipated, I just mean my stools have changed shape and consistency. They used to be long and smooth but now they are like singular moulds. Not changed colour and not hard to pass. And still going every day like normal. No bloating or pain.

i take a few supplements which could
cause this. Apple cider vinegar complex capsules, vitamin D, vitamin C and a medication for an over active bladder which states a side affect can be constipation….
I took fibre gel for 5 days and upped my fruit and fluid intake…. Made no difference.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been having some discomfort after eating. It doesn’t happen everyday maybe only a few times a week. Initially I thought it was when I ate pasta. But sometimes I eat pasta and I have discomfort, sometimes I don’t. It’s never pain enough to make me stop what I’m doing or make me think about pain relief, it’s just discomfort. Usually above my belly button and upper abdomen. I can’t figure out if it radiates to my back as back ache isn’t out of the ordinary for me.

it hasn’t happened for about 5 days until today when I had a big fruit salad- a handful of grapes, 1 apple, 1 pear, 1 satsuma. Not long after I ate that, the discomfort came. Maybe 10 mins after and lasted maybe 1 hour.

I’ve not lost any weight, I still have my big appetite. No fatigue. I was getting night sweats at the beginning of the year - had all bloods taken by GP all was normal. The night sweats have improved massively and have almost totally disappeared.

I do suffer with health anxiety so not sure if I’m worrying about nothing.
sorry for the long post, any advice appreciated.

It's a change in bowel habit.
Best to get it checked out. Probably all will be fine but a change in bowell habit from previously consistent warrants investigation.
Try not to worry though.
"All things are possible, not all things are probable ". That mantra, which my now late father taught me has always helped me.
All the best OP. x

Just to update you. I had a telephone appointment with the GP today. She asked me lots of questions she is not concerned. Has ordered me a blood test for coeliac but that’s it. Doesn’t strike her as anything sinister
