I’ll try to keep this informative but brief I got confirmed several years ago by ultrasound I had gallstones but Becuase my flare ups where few and far between it was kind of left at that untill recently that is where I have been having more flare ups 3 this year already but last Thursday was the start of the last flare up and I was in excruciating pain in my middle abdomin down my right side radiating through my back by Friday evening I was done I had no sleep hadn’t eaten and was taken to hospital which was absolutely rammed pack I was there for 7 hours and all I had was paracetamol and only saw a doctor after 6 hours I was Literlly restless groaning and writhiling in pain it was pretty obvious after I saw the doctor and he prescribed me some meds an hour later they still hadn’t come so I ended up discharging my self thinking I can ride this out at home which I now regret doing but I was tired and fed up the pain did a die down by Saturday evening it was the most horrendous pain I’d ever been in. But since then Iv still been in a lot of pain but not excruciating I feel like Iv done ten rounds with Mike Tyson my abdomen still hurts and my side still hurts doing simple things like moving or breathing are even eaten sends pain waves through I just can’t get comfortable Iv had gallbladder flares up before only lasting 12/14 hours tops and even though they’re painful they where not to this degree I mean it’s been nearly a week know and feels like there’s no let up. I did go to the doctors yesterday who basically said heres some cocodamol that will do I’m so frustrated and in pain that it’s brought tears to my eyes. I’m not sure what I’m asking but has anyone’s gone for as long as mine have I just feel so helpless 😥😥

If the extreme pain goes on for a long period of time, you probably have either a stone stuck in the duct or an infection in the gallbladder. If cocodamol isn't touching it, you need to go back to A&E so they can check what's happening

You need to go back to the GP again and again until they refer you to hospital. The hospital will do their own examinations then likely remove it at a later date.
