You can't stop a course of Isotretinoin after 2 months, and restart it a month later, surely?!

Because that's what seems is about to happen to me! Dermatology have sent a letter cancelling my next appt which should be monthly for my negative pregnancy test and to be issued the prescription. I've called and been told the dr is now away for the month of June for personal reasons and they will get back to me on what might happen.
Well, if they don't have a doctor (and not overly likely to get locum cover in that speciality) then my meds won't continue as it needs overseeing by the doctor.
I'm really frustrated, and don't know what to do. I just have to sit and await a response... but AIBU to think that this is very wrong on such a difficult treatment as it is to have it halted?
