Posted 1st PIP renewal how long will I wait to hear back

First award was 2019 so this is the first time I’ve completed the renewal form with the world gone to pot now im wondering how long it’ll be to hear back, anyone have recent experience if a renewal?

No recent experience however Look at this article on appeal success rates and definitely appeal if DWP try to muck you about!

I'm not sure if either provider have closed the gap yet but currently Capita are reassessing people with forms filled in between 8/22 and 10/22ish. New claims are being put through first.
Don't worry, your claim is still active and the money continues to be paid whilst you are waiting regardless of any end date placed on the original claim.

Seny my first renewal form off in Jan this year, got a text in Feb to say it had been received and had another text this morning to say that they will progress it as soon as they can buy will continue to pay until review.

My renewal took 9 months

Shine a light 9 months that would be a month before it expires thank you for saying I never would have thought that long

I think it would have been longer but I phoned as my award was running out

Mine took approx 3 months last year. It was first granted in 2019 then I received review forms April 2022 and I was granted it again, without having an interview or phone call etc just from the form for another three years. I received the decision in July.

DP's renewal was sent in February last year. He has a phone call assessment this week so currently 15 months....

Holy fuck! 15 months?! 😳😳😳

Waiting on mine. Sent in October. Been informed that if not reviewed 35 days before it'll automatically run for another 12 months. Exactly what my MH needs right now... 🙄
