I've got a hole in my back tooth, it's been there for a few months but this last 48 hour have been the worst!

I'm in so much pain it's actually unbearable! I'd rather give birth again than suffer a minute longer- and that's saying a lot as I had a 28 hour unmedicated labour!!

I've tried paracetamol and ibuprofen tried brushing, saltwater rinse, corsadyl mouthwash and ice on my face but nothing is even shifting it!

I'm not even registered with a dentist and haven't been to one since I was a teenager. I have a massive phobia of them and I'm so scared they'll judge the state of my teeth as I haven't looked after them really due to my poor mental health and it's so embarrassing but I'm in so much pain!

Please any advice or tips to help me get a good nights sleep!

I really hope they can help. I have a significant dental phobia too and always leave things until they are really bad before going to a dentist so I understand.

I had a similar, agonising toothache. The only thing that helped was codeine (and then getting the tooth removed)
