Positive qfit test

Hi all

I have had a positive qfit test. I have had rectal bleeding for at least 5 years about 3 years ago it got worse so I went to Dr who examined me and said I had a fissure but would refer me for a colonoscopy as there is a history of BC in the family (aunts and an uncle). Three years later I got my appointment however I didn't get a colonoscopy the consultant examined me said they couldn't see a fissure or piles (had an internal exam) so they sent me off to do a qfit test.

i spoke to GP today and qfit has came back positive and it's kinda floored me as I didn't think anything of my symptoms after being told 3 years ago it was a fissure then I was told in February I didn't have a fissure. (literally only blood in stools no changes in three years hasn't got any worse and comes and goes)

the GP said he was referring me then when I reminded him of the family history he said it would be red flagged as urgent. I think he said there was lots of blood but I can't be 100% as he was talking quite fast.

so worried this is BC! Anyone a similar experience?
