Covid and ultra challenge

After feeling rough for a couple of days I’ve tested positive for covid. I’m supposed to be walking a marathon on Sunday for charity. Am I clutching at straws thinking I’ll be well enough to do this? I’ve not had covid before.

Can you still plan to go & see how you feel on the day?

I'm sorry to say this but I just wouldn't do it. We still don't know what causes long Covid and I'd be worried that atypical over-exertion like walking a marathon while your body is still dealing with the virus might be risky.

Thanks all. I appreciate the feedback. At the moment I’m in bed after a sleepless fever night. Chest is tight. I’m not going to be well enough am I ☹️
