Any idea why my eyelid is doing this?

Photos attached. Red and inflamed at the inside. Not itchy, more burny. Sometimes bloodshot too, but not often. About four weeks now and gradually getting worse. I cant think of anything I’ve changed in terms of facial products etc. I’ve got three weeks of pretty hectic work travel coming up and don’t think I’ll fit in a GP visit 😣

I’ve had something like this before. Can’t remember exact cause though. Make up and make up remover made it worse. Is any of your make up older/been open longer than what the box says is maximum length? Eg 6 months

Might be episcleritis? It's an inflammation of the eye. I get it. Things that help - ibuprofen and cold flannel compress. Also eye drops similar to hycosan.

It can’t hurt! And maybe change make up remover to something gentler, I’ve definitely got irritation from that which never quite goes away as I keep using it every day. But if eye bloodshot as well maybe something else

Thank you @Jewel1968 ! Seems like I could try those things anyway

@PARunnerGirl when it comes to eyes an optician is a much better option than your GP.

Ocular rosacea? I’ve had similar. Such a pain.
