Nystagmus when I wake up

For a while now I've noticed that sometimes when I wake my eyes shoot all over the place uncontrollably, it only lasts a couple of seconds but it's a really weird sensation. It doesn't happen every morning, but now I'm starting to wonder if it could be a sign of a problem.

id advise goto your gp or if you wear glasses, to the best optician you know. IME the optician can be a really helpful source of info
