Personal experiences of gallbladder issues please

Hi guys

Could you all please tell me what your personal experiences have been with gallbladder issues. Where was your pain located? , how long did pain last, long-term (daily) or infrequent bursts here and there? Any other symptoms? Trigger to it starting in the first place?

One initial huge attack out of the blue. Horrific pain, almost as bad as childbirth. Dh said I looked so grey and drawn it was like I'd aged 20 years! Thought I was having a heart attack or something. Worked it out pretty quickly after that though, then a scan confirmed gallstones. I waited 8 months to have mygallbladder removed (during which time I had to eat an extremely low fat diet, otherwise pain!). Keyhole surgery, no complications, quick recovery, no further problems!
