Sickness bug

Hey guys, just looking for a little help here if anyone has experienced this.

So 8 days ago my daughter was sick once, she was obviously unwell as her appetite was off, then on day 3,4,5 she had diarrhoea but only like twice a day. Anyway, she's alright now.. her appetite is back. However in the mix of it all, I also got this bug and spent 3 days in bed constantly puking, now I'm on day 2 of constant diarrhoea (sorry).. I've hardly eaten for the last few days.. which is fine.. but now I'm picking up on my drinking too, to keep fluids up. Anyway, I feel mostly okay, apart from the really sore/bloated feeling stomach and the obvious diarrhoea. However, I can hardly stand? I'm like so exhausted I can't do anything. Is this a super sickness bug? Or what? 😅

You need to replace salts/electrolytes.
You can get electrolytes tablets that dissolve in water or own brand rehydration sachets dioralyte. 7up used to be good after a tummy bug back when they had full sugar versions, not sure you can get it anymore though. I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you! I was wondering this.. I've been drinking lucozade sport today, I assume that's not the same? I'll get some sachets tomorrow.. hopefully that will pick me up.
