first i had flu, then i constantly felt tired, had headache and congested nose in a morning

this has been for about 3 weeks

this weekend its got worse and my nose is totally blocked up, my head feels so pumped up like it could blow off!

if i rub my face or forehead, i can feel it all shifting around and when i swallow theres a crackling in my ears

i feel dizzy at times too. i'm not looking forward to getting the kids to school in the morning.

i've tried decongestants etc but the only relief seems to be sitting in the bath because it's steamy.

help!

Sounds like it.
Poor you, it's horrid. I would keep up the steam and then docs for antibiotics tomorrow.
Hope you have a reasonable night.

I had this a while ago - thought I had a huge headache and horrid toothache - went to the dentist (it was a Friday and no drs appointments) - wa also meant to be going on dd Guide camp that weekend as a helper - dentist said sinusitis and take paracetamol every 4 hours and ibropro4, but overlapping so your taking someing every 2 (oh and keep head still c it will hurt if not) - took the tablets and went w/em head over a fire, lots of smoke and rain - makeshift steam and was feeling a lot better by the time i rrived for work on monday morning - a bit smoked, knackered and ratty! Know it rid though - would be worth getting checked out by dr - hope your feeling better soon!

I've just got over a bout. I always get pain on each side of my face and get that crackling and moving around feeling. I take sinutab and also paracetomol.

Had something very similar the last few weeks. Kicked it into touch in the end by using sinutab and also a nose spray called 'First Defence'. Within 2 days it had finally gone - might have also had somthing to do with the high dose vitamin C and echinacea I started taking...... just got sick of being sick if you know what I mean!!!

I have just got over this.
