I gave these to ds2 (he was 15). Turned out he (and dd ) had campylobacter and ended up in the hossie. The doctor said I shouldn't have given them; better to let it run it's course.

Have some dry toast and see how it goes.

Hope you feel better soon.

I have to agree with him and say that the bug will eventually pass and immodium will just delay that.

ChasingSquirrels · 17/02/2008 21:29

i hate it because it makes me so bunged up for aes after - so I would say no.

MrsBadger · 17/02/2008 21:30

dh is right

have the coke anyway though

WingsofanAngel · 17/02/2008 21:30

Yes I would take some. Had something similar last week. I took some (shit stop tablets) sorry if TMI and felt a whole lot better.

I wouldn't. It's your body's way of getting rid of something that is harmful. If you take medication it will not be able to get rid of it and you could end up very ill. I'd go and see the GP in the morning. I hope you are feeling better soon.

totally agree with your dh, better out than in.

Really feel for you, had 2dc off school/nursery with Noro Virus last week. Got my fingers crossed other two don't get it. Bm kids have had it twice in 2 weeks!
